I finally took my Lee Enfield that I've had in the vault for over 30 years and fired it yesterday. Really I've never fired it, don't know why but that's a fact. I discovered that the ejector spring was broke after the first round but I didn't know any better. I just thought what I was experiencing was normal. The 303 rd was a lot of fun to shoot. Recoil was very mild and it printed on paper ok. I'm going to have to drift the front sight some. For one used to M1/M14 sights the Lee Enfield rear sucks but are better then the sights on my flint lock long rifle. Can't wait to get the new spring and maybe a scope mount. I shot 10 rds and one in the bulls eye is actually two bullets. Done at only 25 yards but I wanted to see my holes. It was also the first time I shot a bolt gun.
