Welp, didn't get one for Christmas but the Randall 75th Anniversary knife arrived today! Only 200 made, opportunity to purchase was done by lottery system.
FWIW, I got the invoice for this right around the same time LRB invoiced me for the group buy receiver. I had to bust open a spare piggy bank or three to cover my orders.

I have a bunch of those Mora knives. They are pretty handy.
dunno how I let this one slide without a reply.
Some time back, in another forum (now defunct), there was a Christmas exchange done much like a "secret Santa." VanHahner, who was there as well, got my name and sent me a Morakniv.
I like it a lot. Those European folks are not afraid to use thin blades that flex, which is something you do not see much in American blades.
It's in my camping kit, which is a subset of my bugout kit.

I had to replace my EDC last month as I lost the old one at the rifle range. A Zero Tolerance 0770CT.
Wanted to carry it with me a couple of years ago when I went to the UK...NOPE! They will be banning rocks and sticks before long. LOL
Another Randall order came in. I ordered this from a dealer last November. I traded two knives with red handles (and a wad of cash) to get four knife set with matching black handles.
This is the Model 10, "Salt Fisherman and Household Utility" knife with (default) black micarta handles and no options.
The model 10s are a bit cheaper than the others because they are one of the few RMK blades that are not hand-forged and do not have a hidden tang. This is the only model where the handles are pinned and epoxied "scales," making for less labor to build the knife and saving you money.
You get a lot of knife for the price -- out of the gate these come with a) stainless material, b) thumb notches, and c) wrist thong/lanyard hole. Another feature I like is the deep bevel blade grind which makes for good slicing.
Available options for this model are limited to choice of handle material, etching, and sheath (regular as seen, black, or waxed). I probably should have gotten black sheaths to match the handle material but the leather color still looks good.
