Re: What knife did you buy this month?

I have four knives coming soon for March, all Randalls.

First one was an order I placed years ago for a Copper Companion, which is their Combat Companion dressed out with copper instead of brass and in the "model 27" handle style. They sent me an invoice a few weeks back, "your order is about done, here's your balance due." So I paid the tab (2018 prices, mind you) and today I get an e-mail from the shop that it shipped.

Next two are knives I ordered from Capt. Chris Stanaback, the guy that I help with his table in the Tulsa show. One is the model 18 survival knife with 7.5" blade and several options. This order was placed a couple of years back. The hollow-handle survival knives are popular, still, so it took a while for me to get in line on the ones he had on order.

The other from Capt. Stanaback is one I placed last April, a Bear Bowie. It went through pretty quick because he didn't have a backlog of those in his queue.

The last knife is an "oh by the way" from Capt. Stanaback. He picked up a collection from a nearby widow (down in Orlando) and in it was a 6" Model 2 (Stiletto) with the proper sheath and the sheath is signed by Bo Randall. The price was right for this one.

    When it rains, it pours.

    Pics will be forthcoming.

One of these days wrwindsor, you will have to give us a full display of all your Knives.

(Think of the Bank's photo shoot.)
