    Re: CMP 1911 Sales

I got "The Call" yesterday. Tried calling back but it was around 15:00 and they roll up shop at 15:30, so it was difficult getting anyone's attention (was transferred into some other gal's voicemail).

I called again this morning, verified some information, gave them my ccard information.

They offered me 'field grade' or 'service grade'. I opted for the 'service grade.'

I let my FFL know to expect the pistol in about a week, give or take.

Knowing my luck, I'll be in Toronto when it ships. hah.

    Re: CMP 1911 Sales

I hope you get a nice 1911A1 too. Some of the pictures members on the CMP1911 forum posted show some 1911s have been sand blasted and re-parked to the point where you can barley make out the serial number and make, a mix of parts, and were graded "service grade"...should have been "rack grade" just my two cents. But I can guarantee you will let out a sigh of relief after you take receipt from your FFL...that its over. Can't wait for you to post some pictures.
