Jus a quick question about .44 special

    I'm making a holster for a 5 shot .44 special, . . . DA revolver.

Did anyone make a 6 shot DA revolver to your collective knowledge??

I kinda like it, . . . but 5 shots only is close to being a derringer.

    May God bless,
    Dwight

S&W Model 24 is a .44 Special, six round cylinder. N frame, same revolver used to develop the .44 Magnum.

""Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?"

S&W made the Special as standard production for many years and as limited production in several years. Even made it in stainless steel for awhile. May still be available in their so called "classic" line. Never followed Colts but I assume they chambered it also. SAA maybe?
