    Chicken Dinner Humor

Guy by the name of Derry Brownfield had a local talk radio program in Missouri.

He told a story about his family going to the neighbor's place for dinner. He was a little kid then and it was during the Depression era.

He asked for another piece of chicken but his mother said no, he'd had enough. To that he lady of the house replied:

"He can have all the chicken he wants Mrs Brownfield. They're dying faster than we can eat them."
“After all is said and done, successful rifle shooting on the range is nothing more than first finding a rifle and lot of ammunition which will do precisely the same thing shot after shot, and then developing the same skill in the rifleman.” ~ Capt. E. C. Crossman (The Book of the Springfield)

    Discrimination:

Two sandwiches walked into a bar and sat down.
The bartender walks over to them and in rough voice and says,
    "Hey ! We don't serve food !"

    Breakfast philosophy rather than humor:

To understand the difference between being 'committed' versus being 'involved', consider a plate of ham and eggs. The chicken was involved. The hog was committed.

We use this example in project management at work now-and-again, btw.
