A man's 1911 requires wood grips for sure. Sissies and snowflakes are welcome to all the others.

Wow. That pistol is in excellent shape.

I have one two-tone lanyard loop magazine for my Colt.

I used to own a WW1 vintage Springfield Armory manufactured Model 1911. It was 90% or better condition. Managed to find the correct SA two-tone magazine for it. But I let it go along with most of my WW1 collection. That's one of my many collecting regrets along with a 1950's M1911 commercial model with a boxed Colt .22 conversion unit that I let go of.

One day I cuss myself for turning loose of some of those things. The next day I'm telling myself all it did was sit in the safe and gather dust.

    Collecting is a curse.

Here's four of my 1911's all Colt's. One plastic set of GI grips, the rest have wood!

Nice. This thread has a nice selection of 1911s.

One of my other regrets is not buying a Model 1917 45 ACP revolver back when they were affordable.
