    I have several Henry rifles and all are good rifles. Big boy in .357mag and the rest in .22. Also Have a Marlin and a Winchester both in .30-30.

    I think the side gate loader would definitely be an advantage when hunting and you want to top it off after a shot or two. At the range, side gate or tube, no difference IMHO.
