In the heat of the night

Was watching a rerun of In the heat of the night tv series. In this episode (season 6 episode 16) a guy is using a M14 as a sniper rifle.

Re: In the heat of the night

I personally have no plans for ever doing so, . . . but if I ever decided to do a little sniping, . . . an M14 or M1A would be my weapon of choice, . . . mainly because of my familiarity with it, . . . but also because it'll shoot straight a whole lot farther than I can, . . .

Can't say that about other rifles I have or have had.

    May God bless,
    Dwight
