    Laser engraving.

Had a friend with a laser engraver do these for me today.
Going to stick them on rifles made to duplicate Viet Nam era standard M14s in my collection.

    Can he do the EGA???

I would get one with that over 71-73.

    Also one with

He can do anything we ask. EGA type if trademarked can be a problem.

    PM sent.

Can he do actual serial numbered parts? Like receivers?

If the EGA is deemed a no go, USMC over 71-73 would also work.
Maybe have UNCLE SAM'S MISGUIDED CHILDREN engraved on an op rod.....lol Or M14 Battle Rifle. Or better yet...This is my Rifle......

    I'm jealous, . . . Looks great.

I had to put a serial number on an M14 receiver I got years ago, . . . it was simply an 8, . . . for the number.

Took me (taking my time to make sure it came out the way I wanted it) over 2 hours, . . . on my little Grizzly milling machine.

    May God bless,
    Dwight

    Re: Laser engraving.

Once I approved the font and location it took about 10 seconds to do the etching.
I had him personalize my spring covers in an area that is normally hidden by the rear sight, just in case.
