    AR-15 and Florida homeowner...

I will get a jump on Budster as I'm sure he will post this story...

A 61 year old man used his AR-15 to defend himself from 4 armed home invaders....
It will be interesting to see how the media covers this story.

Hey, . . . you are singing to the choir on that, . . . but thanks for the song, . . .

I would personally prefer a Socom, . . . if I could choose the time and place for the confrontation, . . . and be sitting waiting for the confrontation.

But for example, when my wife is out of town, . . . my bedfellow is a short, easily maneuvered, LOADED COCKED AND LOCKED, little AR pistol.

It is loud, smoky, and even ugly, . . . but it'll do the job if I need it.

Thankfully, our Florida Man had his tool for the job.

    May God bless,
    Dwight

When it takes an AR to Replace your wife she must be one tough lady.

(Sorry......that was just too good to pass up!)

Did a little more research on this shooting. Looks like one of the dead has a mug shot and one of those arrested says they targeted the victum because he had guns and pot. Not too bright were they.

    Love it !

"Instead, heís recovering from his injuries while two of the perps are dead and two others are facing charges. Thatís a win by any definition you want to use.
Remember this the next time someone claims the AR-15 has no use in home defense."

Hurrah for the homeowner, I admit, I keep a Spikes Tactical AR15 with thirty round magazine at the ready. Also, numerous handguns and a 12 gauge Remington 870. Be prepared.
