I understand that the Sig 365 got an award for best design for new guns. It falls with everything you stated TT.

I went to the local gun show in Easton, Md. Saturday and bought a Sig P365. I can not pick it up for 7 days though. Can't wait to get it to the range. Thanks Tarheel Trooper!

Re: Sig P365 9mm range report and impressions

Negative Tarheel Trooper, In Maryland you have to jump through a lot of hoops. One has to have a licence to just buy a handgun or "assault weapon". Then you have to get a pin number and purchase number from MSP and give that to the dealer. Then your 7 day waiting period starts while they do a background check. I have done all that and am now waiting. At least I do not have to go through the classes to get a license to buy a handgun because I am a retired Trooper. Md. is one F**ked up state to buy restricted guns and nearly impossible to get a carry permit if you are not a police officer or retired police.
