    Your thoughts on nitride treatment..

What are your thoughts on nitride treatment ?
I have bought several NiB coated AR-15 bolts from PSA, and I believe they are made by Toolcraft, and top quality !!! I just love them.
Well, I saw some Toolcraft bolts on sale at Primary Arms, and had to have them. So I ordered 2 of them.
Does anyone have experience with the nitride treated bolts?
And how do they compare to the NiB bolts?

Re: Your thoughts on nitride treatment..

NIB is the best I have ever used. The self lubricity and ease of cleaning is amazing and really second to none.

Nitride is merely a “hardener” per se. not easier to clean than a standard park and chrome bolt. That said I have and use all four. NIB is my favorite followed by full on chrome then USGI. I have a nitride Ian spare and another one that I am using in an 8 inch barreled pistol.
