Re: Welcome Bula Defense Systems
I think the first order today was for parts.
We're looking at how to make it work easier. The costs of a single small part is so high because of processing and handling costs that we're looking at alternatives. Will get back with you when we get ideas resolved.
It might be best to figure a way of ordering parts by Internet rather than phone.

Re: Welcome Bula Defense Systems
Parts are currently for sale. Julie has a spreadsheet of what's available now. We're focused on building rifles at the moment but I'm pressing to get kits (like a bolt kit) and individual parts available.
Am looking into projects especially for the forums. It's a great way to get feedback.
And while I'm in this thread I should note that I provided an incorrect telephone number for Julie. The correct number is in my post above but I'll repeat here: 216-218-2396.

Re: Welcome Bula Defense Systems
I think that if you sold kits of parts in chunks that make handling and inventory more cost-effective, it might be a good way to get back into direct sales of 'not entirely rifles'. I know Bula used to sell a standard parts kit, as well as an XM-21 kit, both of which I think were pretty much everything except the receiver, stock, and barrel, which I would think would be popular, particularly among those who might want to stock up on a few to designate for future builds.

Yeah, that's exactly what I need for two of my upcoming builds -- "everything except the receiver, stock, and barrel."
A third build would be "everything except the receiver, stock, barrel, bolt."
