Just amazing how many of this sort of thing appear after over half a century in hiding.

What's more amazing is the condition they're in ! They look a week old, not years...
The older I get, the more I realize "life in prison" is not that much of a deterrent.

    Very cool !!!
I have 2 boxes of upper handguards for the M1917 Enfield, one Winchester (unopened) and one Eddystone, and are from 1918. Now that's old !!!
I also have a few boxes of handguards for the 03-A3 from the end of WW2. Amazing how that stuff is still around after all these years.

I actually saw several of the same boxes at Sarco's grand opening after the move to PA. I bought 2 fronts , but the rears were all 1/2in short for 7.62 rifles..

So tell me Chris, did you buy those M1917 handguards direct from the manufacturer? LOL

I have had boxes of 1903 handguards before but this is the first Garand I have had. You would think there would be more garand hand guards around
