I always liked how dark and smooth the H&R rifles turn out. I have one that came to me as a stripped receiver. i had shuff barrel it and repark. it resides in a birch stock but a good shooter!

That's a fine looking rifle! I contacted Shuff's again about the one I just got back about re-barreling to .308. He said it was about a six month wait now! When I first sent this one to him, it was only a two week wait! Of course, that was years ago.
