Despite all the machoism, there are some who do like to collect firearms and not necessary shoot them.

I see nothing wrong with that, and making fun of such is unbecoming.

I wasn't trying to make fun of anyone, nor was I trying to be "macho". I was simply stating my own personal reason for owning firearms. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Not directed at you Jim, it's more of underline attitude I see sometimes surface on this board, that if you own a firearm and don't shoot it, then your ranked at the bottom of the heap.

Their are many who collect firearms as an investment and never shoot them, to preserve optimum value. This limited M25 LRB hawk receiver might be one that would fall into that category, for someone buying it as an investment

Don't mind me, I have a tendency to stick up for the little guy, the one who doesn't wear the big boy pants!

I've never worried about collecting anything as I have no one to leave it to. So I buy them to shoot them. I get more joy from shooting them than from looking at them. But I can understand the looking.
