It will stitch 3/4 of an inch of dry vegetable tanned leather
One guy said his mother stuck her hand in at the wrong time . . . he couldn't get it shut off fast enough . . . nailed her with a couple of stitches . . .
Had to cut the threads and take her to the ER . . .
