Re: Welcome sandhill gunner
wow, what did this old fart get into!! this is my 2nd forum in the m14 forum also & this platform is way confusing for this dump. illiterate. I recognize some of you on the other I am lrsco, & my name is Les..been shooting bout as long as I been walking, & reloading & tinkering on firearms since before I had a DL. am 65 now....have gotten verry opinionated about guns mainly the plastic sorry tigger things they sell as pistols, I am a believer in the old tried & true 1911's. as far as rifles go, rem.700,& their custom variants, even tho I can't afford them, Ar's big & small when I get thru tinkering not much plastic left on them, & the beloved m14/m1a that was adopted at the time of my birth & is still in the inventory of our mil....anyway, I tried to reply to Hawk's pm yesterday. not sure he got it.? many I will get this figured out in time...thanks for the warm welcome, time to see if I can get this reply to post...& take a shutup....for a while anyway, need to crash & set the alarm hate doin that when retired but couldn't get a pm appointment so up at 6:am, yuck.....

Howdy, welcome!
At 65, you're about middle of the age spread here.

The easy way to start off to see what's the latest, is to scroll down to the bottom of the main page, where you will see all the post that were made in the last couple of days in one big clump, then click on the one you want !
BTW: If you love 1911's and are somewhat proficient in the use of them, then join our Under 6" Club !
And at 65yrs old, your just a kid to me ! I'm 75 !
