Agreed. So many builds out there but no reports on how they shoot.

That looks like a Dirty Bird rifle for sure.

Can you list the specific stock parts (aside from chassis) it took to get that look?

I just used a Magpul shotgun rear stock (with the Blackfeather adapter for it) . They come shipped with AR stuff I think?

I used and bought me the cheap $99.00 unitized front gas cyl assembly sold by Midway to allow the use of a standard GI handguard I had cerecoated (sp) black to match the Magpul stock...
Using a standard gas cyl assembly you do not need to buy their handguard or scope mount and can use the parts you have.

How’s the thing feel compared with regular stock? To me it looks low

I have not shot it yet but it 'feel's' much better off hand that any other rifle I have here... Am hoping it will do better than the first Blackfeather I put together with a Bula M-21 and a Bula med wt barrel that feels way to front hvy... My other stocks are Mac's and JAE's... No idea to compare with a standard GI as have never shot one.

This one has a standard wt Jon Wolfe 5r/22 22" and it feels great! Cannot wait to see how she shoots...

Thanks I just ordered the .25 and .50 riser kits in case I need them... Get a full view of the front sight just fine off hand the way it is but have not tried bench yet.
