    The Wanenmacher's Tulsa Arms show

    November 12th & 13th 2022
    Written by XXIV Corps

Early Sunday morning I made it out to the Gun Show (9:15 am), a nice cool day at 43°F. I came across a few tables without someone to answer a question again! The Gun Show was packed with both sellers and buyers, while I was there until near noon time.

There was no shortage of any kind of ammunition or the tools to reload at this Gun Show. One of the first box of military surplus ammunition I came across was from the Czech Republic, was their corrosive 1980 ammunition, just 20$ a box. I came across a dealer selling M2A1 50 cal. barrels (new) for 7,000$ each.

Then I came across a dealer selling hand walkie-talkies, no price and no Vendor to ask! I did see some MRE's around the Gun Show this trip, 60$ a case now. A lot of nice people throughout the entire Gun Show to talk with as I traveled the Show. I stopped and talked with Cow Town Scout for a bit, good to finely meet up with him. Been trying for a couple of shows.

Then one guy had a beautiful M72 LAW Rocket launcher, it had clean sights and front and back pins, asking only 400$ still their 2nd time. Then a Dealer that had the brand-new ammo can of Bosnian surplus was telling me and others around me that it was Lake City new clean brass ammo. I kept asking him about the yellow stenciling on the side of the ammo can reading IK 02-21, plus it was still lead and wire wrapped on the end. He said again it's Lake City and I told him again IK stands for Bosnian surplus ammo and then I walked away!
I saw one dealer selling a pair of beautiful Garand D1C's all dressed out for 8,750 and 9,750$ each. I came across a BAR manufactured by Ohio look nice he was asking 6,2000$. A dealer selling M79 parts?

    Ammunition, 7.62x51mm.

Argentine, '68, asking 1$ a round on stripper clips.
Australian, '88, asking 250$ for 200 rounds in bandoliers.
    Bosnian, '21, asking 450$ for 560 rounds.
Czech Republic '80, asking $20 a Bx. Teal color! "Still corrosive"
Israel, '82, asking 630$ for the crate of 840 rounds.
Lake City Match '70, asking 40$ a Bx.
Lake City Match '82, asking 40$ a Bx.
    Lake City Match M852 '86, asking 50$ a Bx.
    Portuguese, '80, asking only 16$ a Bx.
    Portuguese, '80, asking 150$ a battlepack.
    Radway Green, '85, asking 60$ a bandolier.
    Winchester ball '70's, asking 1.25$ a round.

    M14 parts;

I came across only two dealer selling M14/M1A parts (Row 10 downstairs north section), he had all the parts anyone would need. The other dealer was on the west end upstairs. Oh, by the way he's the dealer who was selling M79 small parts! First time for me finding a dealer selling M79 parts at a Gun Show.

GI Fiberglass stock, without metal 65$.
GI Fiberglass stock, hand painted greens asking 65$.
GI wood stocks, without metal selling for 65$.

    M14/M1A Rifles;

    LRB rifle asking 2,300$.
    Bula rifle asking 3,600$.
    Rock rifle asking 2,300$.
    Springfield Scott, asking 1,700$
    Springfield SOCOM, asking 1,600$
Springfield SM, W stock, asking 2,400$.
Springfield SOCOM with folding stock, asking 5,000$

And for 26th LGS I saw zero M\96 Swedish Mauser's this trip Brother.

The next big Wanenmacher Gun Show is scheduled for April 1st & 2nd 2023.

Re: The Wanenmacher's Tulsa Arms show

    I was there Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 14B tables 3/4/10/11. Next April we'll be at 14B 6/7/8, three-table end-cap facing the south "front door".

The guy I was helping sold -every- Randall knife he brought to sell. The only one left on the table was from a friend from Alabama that he picked up along the way.

There were still lots of knives from Treeman (Jim Behring) and Behring Made Knives (James Behring). Several of those sold on Sunday.

FYI, Friday is "exhibitors only" day. They'll sell you an exhibitor badge without a table so that you can go shopping on Friday, but it isn't cheap. Then again, the $80-ish badge isn't that big of a deal if you're looking to spend $5k give-or-take and avoid the elbow-to-elbow crowd on Saturday.

He got involved across the street early on, he's a staff member now and a super moderator who's old school and believes in staying the course !
