Had a great month this last month, with four of us shooting 10 rounds under six inches off hand at 25 yards. Three of whom shot under 4.5 !
For those interested, it's a ten round, twenty-five yard centerfire offhand pistol, or revolver challenge.
Any target of your choice, we go by group size only ! To enter you must be able to post a picture of your target with a tape measure showing the extreme spread of your group.
Object, try to get under six inches and be a member of the Under 6 December Club !
*Distinguished Pistol Shooter, is a member who has gone under six three months in a row.
Well, after essentially highjacking the kilo range thread, ranging and photographing the backdoor berm - I thought I should probably shoot a round. Although sunny, it's 13 degrees with a 12 mph wind from the NNE making it wind chilled to eight degrees. I put the pooch in his crate with a nice marrow bone to chew and aborted the first round after five, but managed a 5-3/8 with Winchester 185 tmj and my Colt MKIV Series 70 (that dang high flyer spoils an otherwise 4-1/2 group, but still under six!)

thanks 4570govt but I just got me a 250rd box of Berry's copper plated 158gr hp's I loaded up 24rds to start getting her zeroed and relearn how to shoot her.

Great shooting and under 4 to boot! (I guess we won't hear much more of the "shucks, I'm not shooting handguns" for a while!)
I really only shoot them about once a month, I'm running low on pistol ammo, with no primers or powder to roll my own! I would like to load some light wadcutter loads!
