Had this Rossi since early 90's ,model 62 . Cross between the 1890 and later 62 A. Pretty close repo ,not the quality of a Winchester but it shoots . Put a Lyman tang sight on it back then.Interesting I don't remember or maybe never knew . But the muzzle has a deep tapered crown .
Sights were crap ,reconfigured the front to a bead . Installed a modified 1890 to the rear. The barrel is thinner than 1890 but has a Similier feel.Maybe try to shoot this one later in the week.
Fired these two ten shot groups at 25 yards kneeling, rifle resting on bag .First shot was high on left target. Seems the peep sight was not tensioned enough so I snugged it up fired nine more.Which fell in good.
Second target all ten , shoots just left of zero .Already had the tang site shimmed on left to move to the right.Frobtcsight is centered. Its accurate. I know with target ammo it will shoot all X's .
This rifle has smooth trigger, the takedown is very tiguy too.only accuracy issue is me and maybe a little wiggle in aperature. Will address that try again next time.
