Got my 'Jeep Gun' back today!

Years ago I measured a wad of rings that mounted natively on the 11mm rail on the CZ452 (non-American) and newer CZ rimfires (455/457).

What I found was there's no standard definition of "low" or "high" rings. Several "low" rings are higher than the Leupold 54234 "high" rings.

Pretty eye-opening.

These were my last box of 'Med' rings and have me two more on order. I will and need to measure my rings! They do look like 'highs' to me, too... Mis-boxed?

I just ordered my a low and Med set of Leupould QRW 30mm rings to have here

I use mostly the QRWs Jeff. Work great and easy to move the scopes from rifle to rifle. Whatta Hobby!

Each manufacturer has their own idea of low medium and high rings. At least that what I have always heard/read..

There isn't even consistency within manufacturers across different product lines.

With those rings on my 'Jeep Gun' the cheek riser I have on her is a bit to low for me... I cannot remember what height it is so ordered me a 'high' Magpul one to have on hand...

Got home a bit late today but did work a bit on my "Jeep Gun' checking rings and measuring them...
Replaced my medium TPS rings with my low TPS rings and have like .008 thou between the receiver and the scopes magification ring. Had much more with my 'medium' rings...

Not sure how to measure ring height but tonight I got my calipers out and measured my MED rings from the bottom of the mount to the bottom of the scope ring?

Here is what I got:

TPS medium: 0.486"
TPS low: 0.337

Is this correct? Comments; advice more than welcome...
