Got home late from work today and was glad the mail lady saw me drive by and came back to my house and delivered my 'Jeep Gun' with it's new std wt 5r-20 barrel and a VG6 muzzle break!
Cannot wait to get my Arken Scope mounted on her and getting a good zero to see how she does... Box was a bit banged up but forceman had it wrapped and protected well!
I sent him a $20.00 Hughes Precision muzzle adapter to mount my break.

As am I with my new Arken scope on her. We are on frost calls most of this week though... :-(

When my vz.58 was finally delivered by USPS, I too checked the box for damage. To my amazement, there was none. Wouldn't have mattered anyways, the shipper had about 4-5" of bubble wrap all around it, packed in a box, packed inside another box.
Even the most disgruntled postal worker would have to work really hard to damage it. And we all know the "work really hard" does not apply.

Looking good Jeff. I just screwed the same brake on my M5 build this morning. Will be changing out to the adapter for an OSS suppressor just as soon as initial testing is finished. Whatta Hobby!

Does your jeep have a scabbard or special place to carry the Jeep gun? If you've shown us before I missed it . . .
I just have it in a creedmore or a tactical case and just strap/bungie it across the two small ice chests in the back of my jeep...

I was going to suggest getting one of those WWII Jeep M1 Garand rifle holders that carry an M1 Garand or a M1 Carbine "because they are cheap". My Dad bought two, quite a few years ago, brand spanking new surplus for 10 bucks each. One is currently on my 1953 Willys CJ-3A, the other was on my Willys 1954 M38A1, which is gone.
You can forget the "cheap" part of my comment. I Googled them. They now go for nearly 100 bucks !! I remember picking them out with my Dad; industrial shelves lined with the holders, pick the one you want. We got the most minty ones we could find; no rust, good paint, the canvas pads still new, etc..
Sheesh...
It sure is hell gettin' old....
