Am try to get my friend Bill involved here to shoot some as we sometime shot out here together when he lived out here. He's starting into reloading in AZ now so time will tell?

    Re: February Under 6 Club

Hi guy's took the .45ACP to work with me this morning and only had time to shoot 40rds of my reloads seated @ 1.230 before it started to rain a bit and I packed up and left.
Only had two FTF's today and both were first round out of the mag when I dropped the slide release so I feel my bullet seating depth issue has been solved enough for me anyways. What has not been solved is my ability to shoot! Only had target #3 worthy of taking a picture of today.

    Still FTF's?
How about a nice round inch and a quarter (1.25)? ;)

I am leaning for a bit longer Sustinemus; thinking going towards 1.240 or thereabouts... These lead bullets that I am using seem to vary +/- .005

    Re: February Under 6 Club

Went out today to shoot up the 50rd box of .45ACP ammo I loaded with thrown 4.4gr/titegroup/200gr SWC seated at 1.238 to 1.242 coal I have written on the box.
These I reloaded with my regular die set that I taper crimp on the forth step and get a reading of .472... This is what I have been using for a while now. However, on this box, I dug out my other 'taper crimp; die and adjusted it tighter at the mouth of the loaded cases to around .470/.471...

ALL of these fed and fired without a problem today! No issues at all except I cannot shoot... Here are the best I got today and the first was shot without my 'eyepal' sticker I have been using for a while now on my glasses. www.EyePalUSA.com
The last I shot with it. I do think they help me see the front sight better.

Just 2 thousandths on the crimp made the difference? Wow! Nice! :)
