    AR-15 in the sun.

40 degs and sunny today so I am getting out on the range for some fun. RR AR with 24" Bull barrel. 16x fixed MK 4. Handloaded 40 gn V-max over 26 gn of Varget. Not the best load in town, but good enough for a bit of range plinking and fresh air. Whatta Hobby!

The sun has given way to overcast and a stiff breeze. Still the M5 in .308 needs some exercise. She appears to like the same ammo as my M14s. 136 gn fb over 45 gn of 4064. Now that Varget is back I need to load some of that for more precision. Whatta Hobby!

People like to hate on the "Mattel Toy", but you cannot argue with those results no matter who you are !!

AR's of today are not the AR's of yesteryear.

Heckuva pipe on that thing Art! Nice rifle and great shooting! We are getting a bit of a break in the weather here too, 32 and sunny, but wind gusting to 28 mph, so no rifle range time as yet!
