This suppressor is a real Swiss Army Knife and I've shot it on multiple platforms and multiple calibers. A bit big for this pistol, but nice that it didn't require a decoupler. It did obscure the irons, though and I was pleased to still shoot a 6-1/4 by lining up the three-dot irons and judging elevation over the top of the can. Using the 9mm endcap vs 45, the 1900 fps 5.7s were nearly hearing safe, but the supersonic crack wasn't painful, but still unpleasant. Hopefully when the screws arrive for my red dot it may just peek over the top of the can and I can try again.
That accurate with no sights, that's excellent! Nice pistol and suppressor, too!

While I had the Octane suppressor out of the safe, I swapped in the 45 end cap, installed the Filson device and shot this 5-3/8 with Black Hills 185gr JHP and the SIG P 227 that I specifically ordered with a threaded barrel and suppressor sights. Second picture is a heads-up that once you buy a $700 suppressor, wait 280 days for your $200 Form 4 tax stamp you are then probably going to buy several thousands of dollars worth of threaded barrels and adapters to use the dang thing!

    Good shooting Jeff and remember!

Only 6. percent of all our 75 active members can shoot ten rounds under six inches at 25yds. offhand!

We are the only 5 who consistently preform that feat monthly !

    Nahhh...
    You ain't the only ones.
Some of us just never get to prove it. ;)
(Actually, 10 pistol shots in 6 inches at 25 yards is a pretty tall order for Susti. But I
think I could do it after a half a beer and about 10 or 20 targets.) hee hee

    Re: March Under 6 Club

Well done Jeff and stay the course! The high and low flyers are a result of the same demon that I chase every attempt - consistent grip tension. Maintaining that firm and steady "hammer grip" through a ten round string is extremely difficult and tightening the grip pulls them low while slacking off lets a shot fly high under recoil. As far as the left and right "wiggles" that's just gonna happen and taming that is all in the pull of trigger finger. Hell, if it were easy, anybody could do it!
