Screws showed up in the mail today and I mounted the Holosun red dot on the S&W M&P 5.7. Sight paperwork said it was factory adjusted to 25 yards, so I shot this 4-3/16 with the American Eagle 40gr FMJ. After taking the photo, I KNEW I had ten shots but only nine holes so I had to re-examine the target closely to determine there was a very close double at nine o'clock on the 5/6 ring (extra photos attached). After adjusting the red dot 3-1/2 right and 1/2 up, I swapped to the FN 40gr V-Max and shot the 3-9/16. This is the first time I've shot a red dot on a pistol in a long time! It looks like my aging vision can certainly benefit from the optic, as I was able to use my right eye with both eyes open, but the little 5.7 is also an extremely easy pistol to shoot.

Thank you gentlemen. It was nice to finally shoot under five after a couple of months just breaking six! Looks like I may need to invest in some more optics (or maybe eye surgery).
