A threaded barrel is one of the oh so evil things that help make a semi auto a "Assault Rifle" here in NYistan. So if one has a semi-auto with a detachable magazine, any additional "evils" will make it a "Assault Rifle" here.
I refuse to get placed on he "Assault Rifle" list.
I'm rethinking the whole thing anyway as I really don't have the extra $$$ anymore after stopping the dummy kits. All and any spare cash needs to go for repairs on my house up north. That and I am going to Florida in August for a big 3 day Martial Arts event which is gonna cost me a I will be driving down and will be gone for about ten days. My grandson is going with me and the plan is to possibly go back to Parris Island for a visit as well as visiting the Marine Corps Museum in Quantico.

Both Savages 110 in 308 and 223 have threaded barrels purchased from Bensons in Coram NY.
I'm not understanding the Evil Threaded Barrel, except people think a suppressor is 100% silent. Too much TV and Movies for those that don't know perhaps.
Hawk does point out that all things misunderstood are Evil.

Maybe things have changed since I last made a purchase, but, with the new SAFE Law, I know that threaded barrels were one of the evil features listed.

The neat thing about that is, you can use a Glock magazine adapter that can hold a 33 round Glock mag. !

These days publications rules and laws change like underwear and in some cases the wind direction.
Any legislation, law, rule or double speak against the second amendment is BS.
Hawk, being that you live fairly close to our house, you are more than welcome to fire our threaded barreled rifles. When it gets warmer of coarse.
