Re: bill ricca passed away
Oh Wow, Had no idea, Bill had a lot of impact on me when I was big into the M1 Garand. Bought a number of things from him and he also helped me ID a few bogus parts and stocks. RIP Bill, you were a real influence and had incredible influence on the hobby!!!

Re: bill ricca passed away
Sad! 😪
Bill was a heck of a nice guy. I first met him at gunshow years ago (late 80s?), before I knew who he was. He always had time to talk and share his vast knowledge. I was shooting the breeze with him one time late Sunday at a show in Valley Forge, PA when a guy comes up wanting to sell some very clean M-14 parts. Bill said he wasn't buying, but pointed at me, and told the seller I might be interested. And yes, I got a heck of a deal on a NIW bolt, trigger group, NM sights & op-rod and Brookfield scope mount!
He was a director or something in the Forks of the Delaware Valley (PA) Historic Arms Society, and I would always see him at their show at AG Hall in Allentown, PA. He was looking thinner and thinner the last few years when I would see him at the shows, and talking to him, I knew he wasn't doing well.
RIP Bill! Your legend will live on!
