    Thats fantastic. I'm glad for you and the opportunity you have to fire a WW2 specimen, and a Winchester to boot. Im stuck with my Korean era Springfields, so I've never had the chance to handle an authentic WW2 rifle, much less a Winchester. Enjoy and thanks for the post and pix

    My Dad's International Harvester. He never nicknamed it, but us kids named it for him. We called it his Mistress. No body could play with it but him. Seriously. Every now and then at the range he'd let me fire off a few clips. But he was ever-watchful while I was firing; making sure I was treating his Mistress right.
