Perfect Score in Practice 250
I shoot a couple of AQT's about once a month. Shot this just a few days ago and posted on Rimfirecentral's Appleseed section. Another 250, this makes about the 7th perfect score in practice, with one perfect score at an event a few years ago.
I think I'm ready to attend another event.

Yes, I know, I was awarded one on Fathers Day, June 2018 at an event at the Vets Shooting Center, Bald Knob, Arkansas. I've shot 7-8 in practice now. Several 50/50's at KD's as well.

Excellent.
What do you shoot on the AQT?

On this reduced course, I usually just shoot a Tactical Solutions custom built rifle, I assembled a few years ago. Tactical Solutions receiver, 26 inch Green Mountain heavy barrel, Kidd trigger group, Vortex scope. I've shot it often with bolt action CZ 452's, centerfire bolt .223, M14 and AR15 as well, usually shoot good scores with them too. Just costs a lot more in ammo, even with reloads!
NMC_EXP, I think you would like it, it's pretty much like shooting XTC. Offhand on top, rapid sitting on the second, rapid prone on the third, slowfire prone on bottom.

John I know I would have 20 years ago. Due to medical problems I had to give up XTC a long time ago. All I shoot now is prone and could be I'll have to get off my belly and get on a bench before long.
