I have been on the range with a 16" barrel H&K 7.62. THe noise and muzzle flash were off the scale. I guarantee you I'd hate to be on the firing line again with one of those abortions. Nothing to be gained performance wise. In the same category of a teenager putting a loud exhaust and wide offset wheels and maybe a rear wing on some c***p can Honda sedan. Talk him out of it Dwight.
Just flat out obnoxious. Like the folks putting muzzle brakes on everything all the way down to a 15 lb AR15 in 5.56mm. Sheesh. You could shoot that thing off your chin without a brake AND without deafening guys wearing muffs on both sides of you.
Other than that, I have no strong feelings on the matter.
