    Re: 'February Under 6 Club'

I have Pachmayrs that I put on and off of one of my auto pistols. I like the grip on the one hand, but it interferes with quick access on the other. I have the Hogue's on a revolver and like them a lot, but it isn't a cowboy dogleg by nature.

There was a cowboy dogleg I did like though. It was the first pistol I ever owned, a model 1858 New Army I bought when I was 17 or 18. It was the first pistol I ever shot so I didn't know the difference. But it did have that big old octagon barrel reaching out the front which probably helped.

Sort of wish I still had that stinky old smokey thing.

    Never sell a gun.
There were a lot worse places than Phu Bai and they weren't all in Viet Nam.

I sold the S&W Mod 29 target in .44 mag I inherited from my late dad's estate to buy me a Ruger .22/45 I hope to have here soon for the rimfire page.

I will pick up TFL50 next week sometime and check in on that order.

I understand the legacy and stylistic appeal for the western style grip; and was fine in its day for black powder rounds, but on a modern high-recoil pistol it is just dumb!

    Re: 'February Under 6 Club'

Went out shooting a bit today but was a bit ambitious as took 6 rifles out but only shot two! DID shoot my .45 ACP and my Browning Buck Mark though! Here's the .45 today:
